As a matter of fact, Bauer Financial, Inc., a nationally recognized bank rating agency, has awarded their highest five (5) star  rating to the State Bank of Bement.     

As you know, the State Bank of Bement is insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). You can be confident that your insured deposits are safe. FDIC insurance is backed by the full faith and credit of the United States government.

All FDIC insured deposits, including checking, NOW, savings and money market accounts, as well as time certificates of deposit, are insured up to the following legal limits until December 31, 2013: $250,000 per person, plus $500,000 per joint account (with spouse, child or someone else), plus a permanent $250,000 insurance limit for most retirement accounts, such as Individual Retirement Accounts.  Under the Transaction Liquidity Guarantee Program (TLGP), all interest-bearing checking accounts earning interest of 0.50% interest or less are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account through December 31, 2010.  Moreover, if you believe that some of your deposits are not fully insured, it may be possible to restructure your accounts to bring your deposits into insurance coverage.
